Aleta Sherman

Regional Director

After graduating from Texas A&M University, Aleta worked as petroleum engineer for ARCO Oil and Gas. That launched a career in a variety of software and information service companies serving the energy industry.  In 2000, she moved to Colorado and joined CAMT in the mission to help Colorado manufacturers compete globally. 

For more than 11 years, Aleta has worked with manufacturing companies across Colorado, helping them streamline their operations and increase business. Over the years, she has created relationships with state partners, such as the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade, Front Range Community College, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the Department of Defense to obtain resources and support for manufacturing companies.  

In 2009, she managed Corporate Relations for the University of Colorado’s College of Engineering and Applied Science, adding to her expertise and skills an in-depth knowledge of emerging technologies, resources, and programs. As the CAMT regional director of Boulder and North Metro Denver, Aleta has assisted over 100 manufacturing companies with continuous improvement, profitable innovation and product development efforts.
